Tracey Annison

About the Artist

Tracey is an IT consultant and biker who took up pyrography as a hobby after her partner gave her a hot wire pyrography machine for Christmas 2002. She experiments with different types of wood or leather and has created some original designs using both hot wire, and more recently a solid point machine. Tracey creates gifts and does commissions for family and friends. She says "I really enjoy pyrography - it doesn't seem that hard, you get nice results, it's not messy, nor noisy, it doesn't require great artistic talent, and you can pick it up & put it down without spending half an hour setting out & tidying away!"
