About the Artist

South African Wildlife Pyrographic Artist, born in 1954 in Soutpansberg in the Northern Province. He brings 3-dimensional animals to life on leather with a "soldering iron and only about 20 shades". The unusual individualised mountings, using tanned skins and indigenous African wood frames each carefully designed by himself, makes his pieces unique.
