About the Artist

Lucia, comes from Abbot, Maine. She colours her pyrography with a pencil and sprays with a clear acrylic fixative. Some she leaves natural or half natural. All of these would sell for $50.00. She usually shows her stuff at regional craft shows, and she relies on word of mouth a lot. Although she colours, she puts in every line, every hair or feather, so if the color were removed, the picture would be the same. She really loves what pyrography does for fur, it gives it such depth and movement. She just started doing pyrography this past year, having previously specialized in carving canes, walking sticks and staffs of all kinds. To buy her work, click on the link below.
