About the Artist |
| Mehmet was born in Antakya, Turkey
(a very nice town in the south, on the Mediterranean coast) in 1953.
He still lives there. Heused to be a bank manager but is now retired.
He has three daughters, one is a doctor and the others are at the university,
studying engineering. Since his childhood, Mehmet's drawing was really very good, so he decided to take up Pyrography' because it is a really different art. He attended a workshop named ''Gülbol Woodburning '' and developed his technique there. Sometimes he asks Mr Selahattin Ölçeroglu to criticize his work as he always gives good advice. |
