Joan Hardie

	About the artist
	Born and raised in Devonshire, Joan now lives in rural Somerset with her husband George, who likes to play a small part in her work by dealing with the necessary computer work (graphics, literature etc.). However, all of Joan’s Pyrography is produced entirely by hand. She taught herself to use the burning tools, and to enjoy creating pictures of wildlife, especially birds and fish. Joan holds regular technique classes.
