Sonia's interest in pyrography began in the early 1980s when her husband bought her a kit for Christmas. It was a craft ideally suited to her love of drawing and use of natural materials. She exhibits work from time to time although she works mainly to commission, pieces for special occasions such as births or marriages are especially popular. Her latest venture, a video on pyrography, is now available from Janik.
