	About the Artist
	David Kreider (left) is an artist working in woodburning and pyrographic "arts colorée". The subjects of his work are taken primarily from the Middle East and Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, where he has lived. He grew up in Israel-Palestine, a rich tapestry of cultures, perspectives, and passions - a place that has had a profound impact on his life. Along with the formative memories he carries with him are the inspirational images of his present surroundings in the Shenandoah Valley, a beautiful land nestled amongst the mountains of West Virginia to the west and the Blue Ridge to the east and south. Together they have made his work the expressions they are, of awe and celebration for our beautifully diverse human family.
