Jo
was born in Yorkshire and educated in Shropshire. She then moved to
Essex where she became professionally qualified as a graphic designer,
beginning her working career as a freelance illustrator. She then spent
several years working in London as an art editor designing magazines
for the B.B.C, Haymarket and also the very first Big Issue. She later
returned to Essex where she discovered the art of pyrography at a local
craft fair and decided to persue this medium. After developing her skills
she now sells work at craft fairs, galleries and also happily accepts
private commissions. She is a member of I.A.P.A and UK PYROS.
