 LAURIE KNIGHT is a leading pyrographer in the US and you can see examples of his work and other related articles. He has a link back to this website!
RICHARD WITHERS, like many other pyrographers, was originally an artist. He took to pyrography some 18 years ago. His unique style is to incorporate the natural features of the wood into his pictures. Based at Corris Craft Centre in Wales, Richard, a founder member of the Welsh Timber Forum, prefers to use home grown timber.

Aeolian Harp HARPMAKER'S Pyro-Art Site. Robert "Harp" Corrigan is a harp maker who uses pyrography to decorate his work. The illustration from his site shows part of an unstrung Aeolian Harp made of Sitka Spruce. His website is currently showing as an ongoing project the manufacture and decoration of a Celtic Harp made of maple. Fascinating! CELTIC ART. Nothing directly to do with pyrography, but a lot of pyrographers like to do Celtic designs, and we were most impressed with the work of Courtney Davis, author of more than 36 books on Celtic Art.
Raymond Powers' CREEKSIDE CRAFTS. Raymond Powers has just completed this website (see the Gallery) which includes his remarkable work on rattle gourds using designs inspired by old European pottery designs dating from 5000-1500 B.C.
BURNING DESIRES. Pam Horton-Jones (a longstanding customer of Janik) specialises in designs of indigenous flora & fauna, Celtic designs, wood-grain pictures & pet portraits. She can also personalise items such as house signs and objects for special occasions - Births, Anniversaries, Weddings etc.

DAVID KREIDER is an artist working in woodburning and pyrographic arts colorée. The subjects of his work are taken from various places around the world, but primarily from the Middle East and Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, where he has lived. He grew up in Israel-Palestine, a rich tapestry of cultures, perspectives, and passions - a place that has had a profound impact on his life. BEN VILJOEN works in South Africa exclusively on leather. His pyrography of the birds and animals of his country are stunning.

Devoted to Gourds, BURNT OFFERINGS is a studio of pyrographic and mixed-media interpretations of primitive and ceremonial art and music from contemporary gourd-artists Opie and Linda O'Brien. Using eclectic composition and ancient techniques, they are committed to "expressing and communicating Art through Music, Vision, and Touch." Their pictorial Art Gallery has examples of Gourd-Instruments, Medicine-Bowls, Reiki and Runic Vessels, Spirit Containers, and much more! Also included is a history of gourds; a fascinating story in itself. The music from Burnt Offerings is original music. It has been described as both "timeless and haunting."

KLAUS SZENCZER is a freelance artist specializing primarily in portraits. He works intensively in leather branding. This is done by branding freehand with a soldering iron onto vegetable tanned leather. The pictures of his work give you a good idea of the power of the pictures.
KIM WALTERS first used a woodburner in Boy Scouts, it was a gift from her Grandfather. After many years, she picked up a new burner and tried her hand at it again. She uses wood stains to develop the contrast in the images, oils for colors. She has shown her work extensively throughout Southern California. She is HIV+ and has survived! She battles daily problems with severe neuropathy in both lower legs and feet. She accepts commissions, nature subjects, pet portraits, she has even done a few of people.
JOHN MYERS Nautical Art works are original Fine Art drawings featuring Nautical Art, Maritime Art, Ship Art and Lighthouse Art. He does custom pictures and has an active Art Gallery featuring examples. The site features examples of the artwork he offers for sale at local art shows in Maryland, U.S.A. He also operates a mail order service.
NEDRA DENISON is a very talented pyrographer and woodcarver. She is a Texas Woodcarvers Guild Life Member, and a member of the National Woodcarvers Association and IAPA. She does pyrography, caricature carving, canes and walking sticks, chip carving and pyrography classes.
TRACEY ANNISON has a website well worth visiting. As well as her pictures she has details on the techniques used to produce them. Particularly useful for users of Hot Wire pyrography machines.
DANETTE SMITH is an award-winning self-taught pyrographic artist. She creates unique burnings on wood and leather. She specializes in wildlife, pet portraits, and flowers. However, her art is not limited to these fields alone.
Each piece can be uniquely colored or done in monochrome. Please visit her website to see examples of her work. She does commissioned work from your photo and would love to create you a lasting treasure!

STUART KING was born in the Buckinghamshire village of Holmer Green in 1942, and played as a child in the local Beech woods. The countryside and the trades and traditions of those that shaped it over centuries have always fascinated him and influenced his work. He has spent a lifetime researching, recording and collecting anything about the rural past and today is a well-known artist craftsman, demonstrator, international lecturer and photo-journalist who writes regular articles for "Woodturning" magazine. He demonstrates traditional woodworking skills at exhibitions, shows and seminars. These demonstrations are informal and friendly and are illustrated by antique tools, treen and photographs. His lectures are humourous, benefit from practical knowledge of his subjects, and are enhanced with good quality slides and artefacts.  
DAWN'S CREATIONS. Dawn Lochridge has put this site together to get her artwork out to the general public. All her drawings are done on basswood, preserved by a UV protective coating and 3 coats of satin polyurethane. Check out the great car pictures!
FIRESTARTER PYROGRAPHY - BY JO PHILLIPS. Jo is a professionally qualified artist who specializes in burning designs onto wood and leather items. Everything from spoons to boxes, clocks to large wood slices. Private commissions are happily accepted and the artist will design pieces personal to you. SUE WALTERS is a self-taught artist living in Upwey, Victoria, Australia. She favours wildlife portrayal but her art is not limited to these fields alone. It also includes landscape, nature and the human form. The diversity of her work is also reflected in the materials she uses and the techniques she creates and utilizes. Her pyrography has evolved from traditional wood-burning techniques on wood, to a blend of skills suitable for paper, leather, tagua, ivory and other medium.
She is dedicated to the promotion, recognition and teaching of pyrography.
SELAHATTIN OLCEROGLU from Turkey has done a lot of work on animating the old engravings made by European artists in ISTANBUL centuries ago, during the reign of the Ottoman Empire. His aim is to save these beautiful documentary artworks from the pages of the forgotten books and to introduce them to young generations.
